The real question about safety is not
whether you want a pleasant birth at
home or a safe birth in the hospital?
It is, “Do you want to give birth at home
and run the miniscule risk of an
emergency that might (but
not necessarily would) be handled
better in the hospital, or do
you want to give birth in the hospital
and run the considerably increased
risk of infection, the certainty
of additional stress, and the near
certainty of having unnecessary
(and potentially risky) interventions?”

Vaccines

This paper was written by a concerned mother. She and her husband were planning on circumcising and vaccinating their children as their parents did.

When their 1st was born 8 weeks early and weighed less than 5 lbs, the pediatrician wanted to give the baby 7 different vaccines including a vaccine for preemies called Synagis.

When the mother hesitated due to the baby’s size, the pediatrician went so far as to tell her that “she was going to kill her baby” if she didn’t give her this.

The mother was terrified of both giving them to the baby and not giving them and so decided to do her own research and then make an educated decision.  She found out that Synagis (a vaccine for RSV, a respiratory virus for which 10% of newborns that get the virus end up being hospitalized) was $1000 per dose, was made from mice DNA, and the clinical trials revealed that the vaccine would reduce the risk of hospitalization if the baby got the virus by only 4% (from 10% down to 6%).

There was no way they were going to give their tiny precious baby mice DNA to reduce the risk by 4% when the baby’s chance of getting RSV was so low to begin with.  This led them to research all vaccines.  Below is the conclusion to their research.  It is based on documented statistics.   In addition, after seeing a circumcision and doing research on the topic, she and her husband felt very strong about leaving their son intact despite the fact that his father was circumcised.  They believe all parents need to make educated, conscious decisions.

A vaccine makes sense only if all of the following are true:

  • If it actually works
  • If the disease is prevalent
  • I absolutely do not want my child to get the disease
  • I am aware of and ok with the possible short term & long term side effects
  • There is a vaccine that is not loaded with mercury, aluminum, etc.
  • My child’s body is healthy and can process the toxic ingredients
  • My child has the vaccine at an appropriate age
  • I give it to my child one at a time
  • I give my child a vitamin supplement or homeopathic before and after the
    vaccination

Does the vaccine actually work?

Flu vaccines when the vaccine is developed, the pharmaceutical cos give it their “best guess” on which strain of the flu will go around often it offers NO protection.

Gardasil – protects against only 4 out of 100 strains of HPV (which can lead to cervical cancer) so will prevent at the most, 70% of cervical cancers (Mothering Magazine, May-June 2007). May contribute to more cervical cancer if women who are vaccinated believe they are protected and forego papsmears or safe sex.

Pertussis(whooping cough) – 20-50% of all children who get whooping cough were vaccinated and more than HALF of all children who contract Measles were vaccinated (Mendelson, “How to Raise a Healthy Child.”)

Is the vaccine really necessary?

Is the disease prevalent where you live or will be traveling? Would getting the disease really be that bad? When we get the disease naturally, the body responds appropriately with an adaptive immune response and the body usually has permanent immunity to the disease.  With vaccines, however, the body responds with an “artificial” immunity and we may still get the disease.  In addition, numerous shots are required to stimulate the full immune response (which increases the risk of adverse reactions to the shot and accumulation of toxic ingredients in the body).

Is the vaccine necessary now?

Do I need to give a tiny newborn the Hepatitis B vaccine (which is for health care workers and those who engage in high risk sexual behaviors or use intravenous drugs)

Do I need to give a baby girl the rubella vaccine or can I wait until she is of child-bearing age if she doesn’t have the antibodies?

Do I need to give a baby boy the mumps vaccine or can I wait until he is older?

Is the vaccine safe?

What are common adverse side effects?  (Fever, screaming, appetite loss, swelling, inflammation, etc) Is this ok if my child experiences one of these?  Although not proven, many parents insist that the Pertussis vaccine is associated with SIDS as their child died immediately after the vaccine . Some parents assert that the MMR vaccine is associated with autism as their child’s behavior changed dramatically immediately after the vaccine (“Vaccinations, a Thoughtful Parents Guide).

What are long term effects of accumulation of mercury, aluminum, ether, formaldehyde, etc in the body?  (behavioral, chronic autoimmune disorders, respiratory, neurological problems)  Again, is this worth the risk?  (Dr. Bob Sears:  Get Aluminum out of Vaccines, Mothering Magazine, Jan-Feb, 2008)

Why have the drug companies not tested the effects of giving multiple vaccines at one time when this is how the doctors administer them?

Why do some drug companies’ vaccines contain mercury & aluminum and some do not?

If they work without the mercury and aluminum, why is this allowed?

Why is the US vaccinating more than any other country in the world?

Why are many of our vaccines banned in other countries?

The Million $$ Question is:
******Is the risk of my child having a bad short and/or long term reaction to the vaccine higher than the risk of my child contracting the disease AND having a bad reaction with the disease?**********

If the answer is Yes, then do not vaccinate.
